Daisy Yao is a Legal Assistant at Valley & Summit Law. She holds PRC Attorney and PRC Patent Agent qualifications.

At Valley & Summit Law, Ms. Yao leverages her expertise in patents and other intellectual property matters to support cross-border transactions. She coordinates complex China-U.S. matters and provides strong support for cross-border legal work. Fluent in both Mandarin and English, she approaches legal and administrative services with a solid IP background.

Prior Experience:
➤ Prior to joining Valley & Summit Law, she was deeply involved in multiple patent ownership disputes and patent infringement cases.
➤ She previously worked for several years at a foreign-invested manufacturing enterprise, where she oversaw pre-production procurement coordination and intellectual property risk management, gaining extensive familiarity with the operations and risk profiles of manufacturing and international trade companies.
➤ She was seconded by a central state-owned enterprise to Kuala Lumpur for several years, serving as Deputy Director of the Business and Technical Department. In this role, she coordinated project compliance risks, cost and schedule claims, and risk management in commercial bidding, with a particular focus on overseas intellectual property risk control.
